• 8 oz (225g) rice, washed
• 1 3/4 cups (425 ml) water
• 2 tsp. turmeric
• 2 tsp. salt
• 1 1/4 (285 ml) cups coconut milk, hot
Preparation:
Put the rice and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil, cover and simmer for about 7 minutes, until the water is absorbed.
Add turmeric and salt to the coconut milk and stir into the rice.
Simmer gently until the milk is absorbed.
Fluff with fork.
